SELKT SOUNDSYSTEM is an independent online radio platform and sound-culture archive. The Site features mixes, articles, interviews and curated media, including content embedded from third-party services such as Mixcloud, SoundCloud and YouTube. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.

The SELKT name, logo, brand, written content, design and original material on the Site are owned by SELKT or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view and share content for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from it without our prior written permission.

Mixes, recordings and media remain the property of their respective artists and rights holders. Embedded content is subject to the terms of the platform it is hosted on.

If you submit a mix, recording, article, links or other material to us, you confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to that material, and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party. By submitting, you grant SELKT a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to review, and (where we choose to feature it) to host, display, promote and share that material across the Site and our associated channels, with appropriate credit. You can ask us to remove your material at any time by contacting us.

You agree not to:

• use the Site for any unlawful purpose; • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or its systems; • interfere with or disrupt the Site; • scrape, harvest or copy content at scale; or • submit material that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory or harmful.

The Site contains links to and embeds from third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those third parties. Your use of their services is governed by their own terms.

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SELKT and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss of data, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site.

You agree to indemnify and hold SELKT harmless from any claims, losses or expenses arising out of your use of the Site, your submissions, or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
